We offer a nationwide conviction history check for $25.00. The applicant's social security number is checked in a national database to verify if the applicant’s statements regarding residence history for the past seven years are truthful. In most cases, the nationwide database will verify the applicant’s social security number, the state it was issued, the year it was issued, and the applicant's current and prior address history. All applicants are then checked through the county court clerk’s office in their county of residence for misdemeanor and felony history. In addition, we check for misdemeanor and felony history in all counties the applicant discloses or where we determine the applicant has lived for the past seven years. An additional fee will be charged for applicants with New York residence history in Allegany, Bronx, Cattaraugus, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Clinton, Columbia, Cortland, Delaware, Dutchess, Essex, Fulton, Herkimer, Kings, Montgomery, Nassau, New York, Orleans, Queens, Richmond, Saratogo, Schenectady, Suffolk, Ulster, Warren and Washington counties.
